What do you do at work? (pics)

Love dealing with those old line printers. lol. The IBM model is the size of a friggin stove! Had to be big to provide all of that insulation from noise.
Surprisingly these printers aren't that old. It's a tally genicom 6312. Had to replace and calibrated a hammerbank on one yesterday. Dot matrix is an old technology, but its pretty fast and handles tons of printing better than laser printers.

I'm a full time student and I'm also in the army national guard. 11bang bang baby! I was in the AF but working on F16's got boring so now I'm happy being infantry :)

Im a Security Officer, work at the Red Cross at a Blood research facility. Right now im working at Texas Instruments while a new employee does their background check. Pretty much sit at the front desk at both locations and do building checks and receive packages. And now i'm waiting to hear from the Sheriff Dept about a possible position, trying to do something with my Degree.:police:

Today, myself and two colleagues finished assembly on a pair of dump box hoists for a Komatsu 730E rock truck. At working pressure (2500 psi), each hoist is capable of nearly 1/4 million pounds of force on the bottom stage. It took 3 of us 10 hours each to assemble, paint and palletize two of these giants!

Here's what they go on:

I'm a Loss Prevention Specialist. I basically get paid to watch people and catch shoplifters, along with some other security related tasks :D I'm also pursuing my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Terrorism and Homeland Security; I'll be going for my master's once I obtain my bachelor's.

Well everyone got my police physical exam in 3 weeks!! pretty much an obstacle course...so pumped about it!

Good luck! When I first started school I wanted to be a police officer, but all the college courses I've taken have opened my eyes to how many career paths are actually out there within the criminal justice field. Once I get my bachelor's I plan to become a Transportation Security Inspector for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and my career goal is to become a Federal Security Director for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
