Lucille aka El Diablo Blanco
I've been asked to create my own build thread. I keep putting it off a bit since I need to gather all of Lucy's pictures and all that to prep my thread. I figured I'll go ahead and leave my current draft and keep coming back and update as much as I can and include pictures too. Please bear with me while my build thread is still under construction.![Smile :) :)](/xentest/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/smile.png)

I became a proud and honored owner of a 2015 Honda Civic Si Coupe. I decided to name her Lucille El Diablo Blanco (The White Devil). She's a little taffeta white devil with red accent color. I am the third owner. The first owner had the car for maybe no more than three year? My roommate found the car through CarFax and had it shipped to AZ. He kept the car for about a month and decided to sell it to me. He knew how much I love Honda and he felt a truck is what he really wanted. So I bought Lucy from him. She came preinstalled with K&N Typhoon short intake air filter and had 53,000 miles on her.

First thing I did to Lucy was immediately swapping out low beam & fog light halogen bulbs with Cougar Motor (white) & Calais (yellow) Extremely Bright LED. The total cost me about $70. In my opinion, lighting should be the very first category to upgrade to LED bulbs before anything else. It is quick, easy to install, and cheapest upgrade category. Plus it is safer than halogen bulbs.

I bought an Escort Max 360 Radar Detector. Knowing myself having a right lead foot, having a radar detector is a good idea for a driver like me. I keep the foreground color red to match Lucy’s interior accent color. It cost me $500. I got the radar at Best Buy and put it on the Best Buy credit card and paid off on the spot.![wink ;) ;)](/xentest/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/wink.png)
(Anyone that is curious about the radar detector, I'm more than happy giving my review.)

Since I was already in the area visiting my family in Beverly Hills and Simi Valley, CA. I decided to drive out to Ontario, CA stopping by Lasfit and picked up rear signals, brakes, and license plate LED bulbs. Lasfit shared my car on their Facebook page. I also got the map lights replaced with blue bulbs instead. (I went with blue because it is a deaf friendly bulbs which allows me to conversate with my deaf friends in American Sign Language without us having to struggle or squint our eyes trying to catch what we're trying to say in ASL.)

I replaced the clear glass OEM fog lights with aftermarket yellow glass fog lights. Flushed and replaced transmission, coolant, oil & filter, and brake fluids. The yellow fog lights was $99.99. All of the fluid included No-Spill Coolant Filling Funnel Kit cost me around $100. (I used my Amazon gift card to get these stuff.) The yellow glass fog lights were purchased and found at www.protuninglab.com

My HIC window visors & WeatherTech DigitalFit FloorLiner Floor Mats (front & rear) arrived from Pro Civic. I used Gorilla double-side tape after rubbing all of the 3M material off of the visors. The 3M materials aren't strong enough to withstand against auto car wash from what couple friends of mine shared with me from their experience.

Continental DSW 06 tires installed and alignment were done to Lucy. One of the quietest set of tires I ever own. With Lucy’s stock suspension setup, the tires planted to asphalt. On rainy days, it seems to handle better than on dry tarmac. It feels stickier. It cost me about $615 and I paid another $100 for one-year free alignment.

I ordered two Sirimoto Suspension Kits since they were on Memorial Sales and I couldn't resist the deal. Pro Civic informed me the subframe kit has been shipped; however, the chassis kit weren't in stock. I went with a back order since I could wait.

I went to a local UPS to pick up my Sirimoto Rad Subframe Suspension Kit. It was a pretty straightforward installation. I used and followed Pro Civic's installation videos. The rear tie bar is something the newbies need to be aware of since we need to pay attention to the lower control arm where we remove the bolt to insert the tie bar on. if the jack isn't in the right place, it can create and cause some issues.

I did some research and found a local JDM store that sells Red H Emblem. I called beforehand making sure they had two in stock before I drive out. I drove out and picked up two red H emblems. I have not install it since I am getting my car repainted. At least I have these badges in my hands now.

The chassis suspension kit finally arrived. It arrived few days earlier than what I was notified. I went with Stage 2 Kit which comes with front strut bar, rear carbon fiber strut bar, and trunk brace.
The front strut bar came pre-assembled than what Pro Civic's video show. When I try to install the bar, I realized the brackets were installed backward. I had to switch it over and made it work. The front strut bar requires little more work and patient than dealing with the trunk brace and rear strut bar.
After I got the trunk brace installed... I look at the fuel pump cover and I'm thinking to myself, "Oh crap...it is one more thing I need to remove in order to gain access to the fuel pump... Same with having to fiddle with both front and rear strut bar when I install coilovers in the future... Oy !
