8th Gen hello from a 8th gen owner.

Well some updates, I'm going to be a dad! So my build will come to a halt till I have some extra money, I'll continue on as I can with smaller/cheaper projects with the car.
I'll be parting out all my extra/retired stuff after I get my cams in, then the suspension. But I'm hoping to have the following done by the time my kid gets here, cams , valvetrain, oil pump conversion, hybrid racing tct, hybrid racing Short shifter assembly, and suspension. Then my list of stuff to do after the kid is here is:

as you can see most of this stuff will be on the cheaper side but the few bigger things will take longer.
Then after all this stuff **** will get serious again. the kid should be older and have another car and have a good paying job.
My goal with this car is to have it running in the 9's when I'm all done, and yes I know it will be complicated getting this fat *** car to be that fast and there is better cars to make that fast. But I want this car to be in the single digits in quarter mile when I'm done and be able to beat my brother fast car(he will have it built in the next year or so), sibling rivalry lol his big v8's W/nitrous vs 4banger W/big turbo

so it looks like ill be rocking si wheels as of right now.
any chance someone could Photoshop them on my car by chance? or any white fa5 i have a whole bunch of pics on here i cant seem to upload any right now.

EDIT not sure why it didnt put 2014 in there but id like 2014 si wheels Photoshopped onto my car.

I'd love to pick up a set, but im trading my wheels for some 2014 si wheels and cash so i can put money down on suspension for my pregnant wife/baby.
but when i buy real wheels ill be getting Advans for sure.

I run the rep version of the RS he has for sale. It's like the perfect size too. 17x8 +37. Just slightly wider and a little better offset. Buh, I wanted them when they were $3k and now for $1300 it's just killing me that I can't pull the trigger on them. Trying to get completely debt free by the end of the summer. I'm close so buying wheels would be a poor decision. I hate being responsible.

yea damn 1300 thats a good deal. i dont like being responsible either, i dont need suspension but its the responible thing to do with kid on the way. id rather finish buing parts so i can put in cams. but keep it up being out of debt is a great thing. i wont know what thats like for a while.

So as far as I know I'll be trading my rims for 2014 si rims if anyone has Photoshopping skills hook me up so i know what my car will look like, any pics on this thread with 2014 wheels please.
I came across a damn good deal on a k24 block that I'm working on getting the cash for, so looks like its gonna come together a little quicker than expected. (cool thing about the block the crankshaft has been polished and balanced and it have a un-used 87.5bore)
So if I can convince my family to buy my suspension for the baby/pregnant wife, I can start putting money on getting my cams installed and get the block paid for & shipped to me.

So today I talked with a honda guru and let him drive my car to see about my transmission and to talk about hondas, he has a hatch back that ran a 10 flat on his old turbo b series build now he is doing a all motor b series build now and it is running in the 12's. anyway he says its my syncro's so im feeling like the mfactory master rebuild kit is the way to go it all all the stuff Ill need to replace and more and he will be able to help me do it all witch will be a really cool/informative project.
And if anyone can help me I'm determined to find the specs on my cams Go Power V1R-2 I've found the specs on V1R cams but mine are more aggressive than the V1R cams I guess I need to find the previous owner and ask him or if anyone can help I've spent many hours looking so I'm recruiting anyone's help now.
 
@Br3TT - brett has some knowledge on syncros. I think he got some real nice carbon ones but I can't remember who they were from. I also somewhat remember them being not a bad price.
 
so I found out it is possible to delete the evap system and there are like 3 people I found on 8th civic that has deleted it I'm trying to figure it out and ill will probably make a DIY for everyone, you will also have to have flashpro and either know how to make it not throw a code or have a tuner do it.

So a update to you all about my car if anyone cares.
I got the ZDX TB adapter and got it installed, and I'm having no problems at all with it. next up is to clean up the skunk2 throttle body and weld up the evap hole and get it looking nice then send it in to have skunk2 recalibrate it and hopefully when i get it back it will work like a dream.
next up I got a good deal on 2 of 3 NST pulleys so when after i get the coolant bypass done on my manifold ill buy the 3rd pulley from NST and get them installed, excited about everything.
I'm debating running the crank and alternator without the idler pulley and just getting a smaller belt to run them, and throw in the idler when and if i get a NST idler pulley.
