make sure you clean the holes for the pins well if they were contaminated.So I started messing with the brakes tonight since I need to take the rear rotors to have them resurfaced.
I noticed the rear pass side pads have more meat in them compared to the drivers side. I start taking everything apart(gonna help me paint stuff too) but turns out the guide pin boots have tiny holes on the pass side
I guess some crap got in there and semi seized up the pins.
The local Advance Auto said they have a set in stock. Gonna try and find enough for all 4 corners. Might as well since I’m in there already.

It’s a quick disconnect type of thing? You just pull it down and can access the nut to remove the shift knob.
Also, I know the stock knob is a fake one. Might replace it at some point.
