Official 'What did you do to your car today?' Thread

@Dad You're totally over $80 lol

So I have been throwing the idea around for a while, but what do you guys think if I sold my civic for a 2011 Civic Si? Not for sure if I want to do it, but just thinking. Maybe I'll just save up for one, but I can't have two cars where I live. This is the worth of my civic as of now.

I get a killer discount with my Honda locally since we buy our collision parts from them :D

If you were able to find a clean one with decent mileage, id say do it

The advans and buddyclubs r on with Moog front sway end links

Buddlyclubs: Worth every penny and basically the shizznit

Moog end links: Same as buddyclub

Advans: the front is the +35 offset and are poking like crazy :/ might sell them but everyones telling me just run like -2.5 camber up front6DFBDC3C-7B74-48E8-A6BE-9BFED64F825A.jpeg

Noticed the front of my car getting lower and lower. Took the wheel off and noticed the ring lock had loosened up. Crazy how 9th gens look so much better the lower it goes, but had to raised it back up an inch since I don't like scraping on things lol

Gave my Civic the soap and wax treatment yesterday. Nothing special, just overdue for a proper clean and protect from pollen season. The real 'work' is happening in the background with my Stealth. :hiding:

Oh... don't leave us hanging! :P
I have to build the suspense....it's not like the car is building boost (at the moment). :)

Anyhow, I needed to replace the rear subframe bushings as they were original rubber from 25yrs ago. So, I decided to do a full rear subframe assembly restoration. I completely broke everything down for powder coat which was completed just last week. Next is to order new seals and what not, then begin reassembly. So, overall, it is nothing super awesome, just some cosmetic and age improvements that most will never see since it will be under the car. But, it will be the nicest car in the junkyard in 30yrs. As for the colors, I went with a red/black/gold scheme as I had done before with my engine rebuild. Here are some pics of where things are at the moment.

So this is what came out of me rolling up my sleeves and getting the door cards and center console rewrapped with red suede. It's got a little foam on the back for a nice cushiony feel. Wish i would have done it sooner... only took about 3-4 hours total over two nights.

Good stuff!

@webby I actually still have some of the OEM red material that has a template drawn out on them.
