Official 'What did you do to your car today?' Thread

Thanks Webby I'll be looking into those! @Janz3n I was invested into Crypto, but it took a huge dive the past couple of weeks and I sold before a significant dip. Algorand recently dropped Algofi and Yiedly is building off of their blockchain and working together so I have a decent amount coins. It is only worth $0.016, but I staked them and got a few thousand coins for free so I saw a good return. Still holding. I'll buy my way back eventually.

Damn, he messed up...

Brand new tires, 2,000 miles in and this somehow happens... I had insurance, but still had to pay $80 for a new replacement tire. I'll use this one as a spare once I have it patched up.

Ain't that a *****!

I had the same thing happen to me but it was on the sidewall..

Howd you get the vin lol I’ll take one. They good cars? I know they use the Rotary engines.
I pulled it from the one that had the license plate showing in your pic. I pulled it from that. The rx7 is a cool car in my opinion. Some are definitely more sought after than others, but they're still cool.

this link may work to give you an idea of what 1984's or around that age are going for in various conditions

After a long time of making excuses and neglect I figured I’d learn how to wash my engine bay so here’s the first time I’ve ever done it. Makes me feel a lot better when opening the hood now that’s for sure.

I took the hood insulator off and washed that too. Bought new pins to replace the old ones. I’ll wash the car soon.

Nice Job!

Thanks guys!

I used a pressure washer and sprayed it down, then sprayed some Chemical Guys Orange Degreaser over the engine bay and waited a few minutes. Then used a Boar’s hair brush to get into the tight spots and agitated the surface. Sprayed it off with the pressure washer, used a microfiber to pick up the puddled water and then sprayed some Meguiar’s Hyper Dressing over the engine bay, turned the engine on for a few minutes to let it heat up and drip down. Then used a small applicator for the plastic trim. Also used the microfiber again to clean up excess.

Picked up a bunch of different clips for my car since I have misplaced some over the years. Also got fender liners, oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin air filter, driver side door interior rubber seal, new rear splash guards. I also got a new driver side mirror cap.
